Keeping It Simple With The Family History Guide

With all the family history information around the Internet I often find myself reading a blog or website and trying to pick up new tips and tricks. I will star them to return later when I have time to revisit. I find myself tagging or archiving emails that I never do return to very often but that in the moment I wanted to capture for future use. I suspect I'm not the only one that does this.

Time is often like money.  If you don't have it now what makes you think you will have it, tomorrow or next week or next month?  It also makes me  think of that saying that there is no Someday in the days of the week.  Or don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today!  Living in the present is just more productive.

One of the very best things about The Family History Guide is I don't do that as much anymore because I go there first. At www.thefhguide.com I find most everything is already saved there. What I was trying to learn is right there in the projects, or topics or country/state pages or the vault. Everything is organized and sequential and right at my fingertips under one roof.  Why oh why would I want to find it again and then archive it, when it is already done in the Family History Guide?  It's a no brainer!  I don't!

This feature alone has motivated me to really dive deeply into it to know what is there and how to find it. The things I have been trying to gather for years for both learning and teaching are right there. When people ask me why I do Social Media for The Family History Guide, I tell them, "Because it is that good!"
I urge you to dive deeply into it and find all you need also! I don't know about your but I'd rather spend more time implementing and less time gathering.  Would you?
